The superheroes at Team TRUE have clearly been super-busy lately (based on the number of blog posts anyway)! Some of the things that have kept us flying high:

• We could’ve danced all night – and maybe we did – when the touring production of MY FAIR LADY join the TRUE client roster. We are looking forward to spending quality time with Eliza Doolittle, Professor Higgins and all of London high society as the show prepares to launch this fall.

• As always, we are ready for some football – specifically ORLANDO PREDATORS football. After putting together the “Get Your Nuts Back” Super Bowl spot for the Preds, we created the opening video and LED signage that will be seen at all of the games. To celebrate, we grabbed some nuts (and perhaps some adult beverages) and checked it all out for ourselves when the Predators opened at home March 26th.

• Love is in the air…well, at least at the The MEZZ, Central Florida’s most buzzed-about new event space. Brides-to-be are falling for the possibility of a high-end, high-rise reception site – and also, perhaps, for the charming and devastatingly handsome event manager that accompanies it – so the TRUE creatives put together a wedding video to accentuate why The MEZZ is the place to be for betrothals!

• Finally, we have had found many, many ways to be WICKED – promoting the touring production as it spent five weeks blowing audiences in Orlando away. Make sure you check out the “greening” of Elphaba spot shown on icFlorida.com, as well as the behind-the-scenes look at the load-in of the show on thedailycity.com.

Now, what you’ve all been waiting for: Jannet’s Wine of the Week! Right now she’s enjoying the Concannon Conservancy 2007 Petite Sirah – described as displaying “ripe blackberries and dark cherry, with a nutmeg sprinkle.” Fun facts: Concannon was the first vineyard to bottle Petite Sirah, and the company is creating a trust to protect California vineyard land against development. Welcome to the Team TRUE blog, better known as…

While this blog is about us and what we do here at TRUE Marketing, it’s really more about you – our clients – and what we can do for you. We want the TRUE annals to provide a place where our current clients can see the work we’re doing for them on display, and where potential clients can peruse the caliber of work Team TRUE provides.

We also want you to get to know us a little better, so here on the Team TRUE blog you’ll hear from our fearless leader Wendy, the President of Team TRUE. She’s known around the office as the ‘Marketing Muse’ and will be relaying vital company information such as new client signings, creative and bold marketing initiatives and of course where we’re going for happy hour.

You’ll also hear from our Vice President of Marketing, Jannet. Typically referred to as ‘The Most Interesting Woman in the World,’ Jannet will report the unique promotions and unmatched events we’re producing for our clients – as well as a weekly wine pick.  This week she’s been sipping on the office favorite Rosenblum – Vintners Cuvee XXX II. A blend of wines from various regions of California, it shows lovely raspberry and cherry fruit and seems to swiftly disappear from her glass.

And finally, you’ll be hearing from Amanda, that’s me! Sometimes referred to as Sergeant Sunshine or better yet, Slushie, I’m the Public Relations Director for Team TRUE. I’ll be keeping you posted on our clever PR plans, imaginative yet applicable social media initiatives and since I’m a smidge sports-obsessed, the sports fact of the week.  For example, did you know the first College Football BCS rankings for the season come out this Sunday – and even though Ohio State is currently the AP No. 1, they are likely to fall all the way to BCS No. 3 and the current AP No. 3 Boise State will be the BCS No. 1? Really?!

But most importantly, we want to know what you think!
